I have a couple friends who are into Panic, and they saw 'em live. Said they were just plain horrible, and it was more of a circus on a too-small stage than a concert. I laughed. Frankly, I'd be surprised if Panic made it to album 3.
It's bad because the only good band was Hot Water Music and they only performed tracks off 'The New What Next'' which had not yet been released at the time of the shows. I actually left that show half was through the get up kids, I never got into them and never like more than on or two thrice songs when they were on hopeless/subcity. Still, that lineup was the strongest Civic tour to date.
sometimes I like to yell "panic at the disco!" and then do a little dance number. gotta get backstage on this tour...gotta meet the singer from PATD and see if he can really work it.
After recently endorsing Jhn McCain, Sylvester Stallone had this to say:
“I like McCain a lot. A lot. And you know, things may change along the way, but there’s something about matching the character with the script. And right now, the script that’s being written and reality is pretty brutal and pretty hard-edged like a rough action film, and you need somebody who’s been in that to deal with it.”
All I can do is laugh. I feel like a giggly little schoolgirl. tee-hee
Republicans always get support from Hollywood's grade-B actors and grade-A morons.....Stallone, Arnold,.............Spears. Haha......has an intelligent and mentally stable actor/actress/musician ever shown support for the GOP? Of course not.....that would be the first sign of a lack of intelligence and mental stability. Unfortunately, 90% of Americans fall within this pathetic category and will probably vote for a douche like McCain.....or Rudy......or Huckabee......or Hilary (she might as well be a Repub. as her opinions sure reflect one)
agreed.
i almost want to not drive around in my car for fear of being associated with this shiteous bands for the whole month and a half they're on tour...
I really want to listen to Panic!'s new CD because I want to see how much harder it will it blow compared to "A Fever You Can't Sweat Out". I want to see them accomplish this, because I don't know how someone could write anything worse.
Seriously, I even think that fans will abandon them completely. This band had One-Hit-Wonder (or, one album wonder) written all over them from the start. And that's only because their first CD appealed to the Fall Out Boy crowd.
Am I the only one that prefers Commit this to Memory over I am the Movie? The new one has a few real gems, like the first two songs, but a lot of it is totally forgettable, it's a shame.
I too prefer Commit this to Memory to I am the Movie. A lot of people just fall under the "if i heard it first, it has to be better then anything after it" syndrome.
Oh boy will this suck, why would MCS play with these no talent ass clowns?
