Teenage Bottlerocket has posted a video for the song "In The Basement" from their recently released sophomore full length Warning Device.

The band has also confirmed the first portion of a March tour with Dead To Me and the Femurs.

Yeah, I like to make up German phrases by applying American slang. You literally cannot say "that sucks" in German. Try asking a German, they'll have a meltdown. So I did it myself: das saugst.

I´m from schweinfurt, jennys hometown. I actually met you once when you were visiting her during the world championship the night the caddies stayed at the stattbahnhof venue and germany was playing against poland.

well a lot of people start saying "das saugt" over here, although it doesnt really make sense in german.

Well, anytime you can take a train ride through a wooded area that you've never seen before, I always find it enjoyable. I thought Bamberg and Rothenburg were cool too, those places are nearby.

Oh, and lastly, "Deutsche sprache schwere sprache".

ya...i'm no dante when it comes to cheeky esoteric humor.

and apparently it was just the computer i was on that wasn't playing the video, that was great.

also, i think the old guy at the computer in front of me is chatting with a cop/decoy on AIM because he keeps saying retarded things like "babe do you want me in you" and gets responses like "yeah i want you in me". i hope Chris Hansen is coming to my town.

great song,. cool video. only problem is the blatant product placement of the GPC (Giorgini Precision Craft - Flav Giorgini (Mass's brother), of guitarpunk.com, and punk band Squirtgun)...c'mon man, the head of the guitar is in the cameria for like 5-20 full seconds...

Believe it or not, that wasn't intentional. And if it makes you feel any better, I think GPC has been outta business for years now, so they have nothing to sell. Also, not sure if you've ever seen guitars before, but they usually have some pretty distinct markings. There's also a Gibson SG in the video...shameless plug!

Man, I'm so jealous of people who actually bought a Weaselrite while they were in production...sadly I was a poor college student at the time, and now, when I actually have money that I could easily fork over for one, the only way I could get my hands on one now is to watch over eBay like a hawk and the probably pay at least twice if not more than the original price (which I believe was around the $700 mark if I remember correctly)....as they say, opportunity only knocks so many times

Shit, I guess so. I just feel like, if they want to sing a song about not wanting to go down to the basement, they could just cover "I Don't Wanna Go Down to the Basement" straight up. Cause... it's a much better song, and it would be less ridiculous than writing the exact same song like it was a whole new song that desperately needed to be written.

They're also playing Reid's Pit Stop in Longview Washington on March 22nd with Broadway Calls. Not quite sure why that show isn't on the schedule?!?!?!
