Let Me Run signs to XOXO Records

New Brunswick, New Jersey-based Let Me Run have signed to XOXO (Gaslight Anthem, All Rattle and Dust). The band begins pre-production for their debut full-length this week and has a tentative release date of September 16th, 2008.

lumberjack imagery is quality. great HWM-esque guitars. but the vocals are meh. sounds like he can't decide whether to be totally gruff or totally clean. not bad tho.

This label seems to be dropping the ball on the Gaslight Anthem cd. I can't find it anywhere except itunes. As of last week, Amazon has used copies for $25 and everyplace else including interpunk is sold out. It's pretty lame for the band, when people like me are trying to buy the album and just can't find it anywhere.
In other news... the Strung Out twisted by design show was fucking insane!!! Seeing them perform that whole record was like a religious experience (and made me feel kinda old). Good times indeed!

yes yes yes on the strung out show! my husband and I made a pilgrimage from Vancouver and caught Bad Religion & Ignite in San Diego the night before, then Strung Out & DBS at the vault -- needless to say it was a really good weekend :) although I will say that DI seemed kind of ... sad and embarassing?

yeah... D.I. should have played before DBS... they were not that great. But I would have sat through Creed, just to see the set Strung out played! How about that cover of Got The Time (Joe Jackson, Anthrax)?!!! That was so bad ass!

agreed, absolutely nothing could have ruined that night, certainly not a past-their-prime punk band, although it was the random homophobic comments that spoiled my buzz just a little bit. But strung out's set was just ... amazing. Pretty much perfect and I had really really high expectations! Anthrax cover w/ efrem was totally badass. Maybe I'm missing something obvious, but do you know what the other cover was? the only singer I can think of who died of autoerotic asphyxiation was the singer of INXS?!

Hey guys,

here is a little information on what is happening with the Gaslight record. Within the last 3-4 months our distribution company began to go out of business. We had to get things straight with them and find other distros to pick us up in the meantime, thank god for No Idea! they have really helped us out. Now that we have that straightened out we also have been picked up by Sony RED, which, in turn we have to wait until May for our records to be upstreamed into their system. As of May I am pretty certain you will not have one complaint about finding our records. Hope this clears the air a bit. Thanks to everyone out there that has supported us, we really appreciate.

yeah... this label is terrible... they hit a gold mine with Gaslight but aren't helping them at all. It's a shame. Sideonedummy needs to re-release this record.

Wow, they come from the same town as Gaslight and are such a big rip off of them too. Fuck this band.
