Though the situation seemed unreconcilable, according to Hits Daily Double, Victory and Hawthorne Heights have apparently settled their differences and, "the label [...] will release the band's new studio album later this summer. "
Over the past 12 months, the band and label have launched suit and counter-suit against each other and the band itself has not been able to tour due to both internal tragedies and the inability to record new material during the pending litigation. Victory Records (53 comments)

Guess they missed their flash in the pan moment. Way to go, everyone involved.

Is Victory Records seriously the abusive husband? Bands finally get the courage to leave and sue them for what they're owed and then the come crawling back. "It wasn't so bad...I mean, I did talk a lot, I deserved it". 8+ Replies

Half of me says Tony Brummel saw the money flying away, considering that they were his biggest act of the past few years, and came crawling on his knees begging them to come back. 3+ Replies

Are they stupid? I feel sorry for any up and coming band that still feels like signing to a major label would be a good idea.

i feel bad for this band. i mean i dont like there music at all but victory always fucks bands over. so they fought it then their guitarist dude died which sucks when anyone dies. i guess they didnt feel like fighting it anymore. kinda sucks but so does the band.

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice...you can't get fooled again? Something like that!

Here's the word I heard...basically, there was no way out of this, and if the band wanted to release anything in the next couple of years (litteraly) it would need to beon Victory. So rather than let it fester for years, they're gonna put a record out with Victory and that will be that, end of story, and they can cut the ties after that. 1+ Reply
