Alternative Press has officially launched their podcast series. Cleverly titled the AP Podcast, the series focuses on long-form interviews with bands and other music-industry veterans with much of the discussion focusing around the state of the music industry today. Each episode is generally 1-2 hours long; you can subscribe to the series for free via iTunes here, or download individual installments (including interviews with Tom Gabel and Andrew Seward of Against Me!, Ben Weinman of the Dillinger Escape Plan, Laurent Barnard and Steph Carter of Gallows, Tim Lambesis of As I Lay Dying, Kevin Lyman of Warped Tour and more) here.

ALTERNATIVE PRESS magazine has been spanning the world of new music for 22 years--slightly longer than you've been promising monthly mixtapes to your friends. Now, through the beauty of podcasting, music editor Scott "Earnest, Midwestern and Tiring" Heisel and editor in chief Jason "Nihilist, Bitter and Elderly" Pettigrew further the magazine's sonic agenda with new, exclusive and respected tracks from as many subgenres of contemporary punk they can cram into one hour. With everything from My Chemical Romance to Moneen and a truckload of detours in between, the AP Show is run by the annoying younger and dimissive older brothers you never had but always wanted—for an hour.

i'm 24 and after a shitty breakup went from 180 to 166 pounds. i've stopped losing weight but i am still a little flabby. how can i harden up my mid section. crunches seem to be working only real slow and really it's not that much. i drink a lot of beer. is my only option to quit all the booze. i do lots of running. 4 miles 5 times a week. any suggestions on how to stop this plateau i've hit and get a little more hard/lean? 3+ Replies
