These dudes are great live. Really great for blowing off steam after a shitty day at work.

That video doesn't do it full justice, as awesome as it was. Definitely one of the craziest shows I've ever seen.

I saw them with Strike Anwyehre last month. They were incredible, but no one seemed to know the lyrics and the crowd wasn't as fun as these guys. Dan Yemin is my hero.

dr. dan is totally one of my heroes too. saw him a couple years ago with the hope conspiracy and colin of arabia, and the usual knucklehead business started breaking out. in between songs, dr. dan fucking goes "hey guys, let's stop that fighting bullshit. fighting is pointless unless you're fighting for the good of mankind." and everybody just applauds. amazing dude.

yeah, he doesn't fuck around. he actually said something to that effect here, except it was about 150-200 kids sitting in the back of the room checking their sidekicks or fixing their hair or what have you, and about 30-40 kids up front singing along and starting pile-ons. "you came to see a punk rock show, fucking get up front and get into it!"

dr. dan trying to encourage kids to come up front and sing along to the band they paid to see was kinda disheartening, but it sucks for them, great for us...

That looked great to be at.

This was one of the radest things I have ever experienced, the tree dives were insane and Jeff Ziga lost his mind in the crowd. I could not believe how many people showed up for this, everyone set it off, but nothing bad happened to my knowledge.

This performance was legendary, so I'm very happy I was there to see it.

Also, kind of surprising Sailor Jerry posted the video after how unhappy the staff was with the performance. They pretty much forced them to stop and there was a fat guy with a bluetooth headset walking around in the crowd who was super-pissed and said something about how they were going to "bill the band" for the damage caused.

It was awesome, and I'm sort of doubting they'll ever be invited back to do that again.

I can't imagine it was anyone affiliated with Sailor Jerry that was pissed. From what I've heard (I live in Vegas, but know someone that works there) they've had some pretty rambuctious performances from some crazy dudes like Jay Reatard, and had no problems with them at all. Maybe you're right though since this seems pretty wild.

Pit would never get his panties in a big enough wad to not post this.

And NO ONE even asked the band to stop playing, let alone forced them to stop. We are all hanging out at Tattooed Mom's afterwards!

The funny thing is that the dude with the headset was the owner of one of the sex shops on the block.

The only thing I was even remotely bummed on was having to clean up the trash afterwards. But hey, whatever.

2000 people may have been out and about and near the show, looking in the direction of the show, and hearing some part of the show, but i don't think they can really claim that 2000 people were in attendance. nonetheless, paint it black destroys.

i was there, and the actual people there for paint it black was NOT 2000 people. when you have a free show in the middle of a crowded downtown area, you will attract a huge crowd no matter what. still cool times.
