The Offspring detail "'Rise And Fall, Rage And Grace" details

The Offspring have revealed the details of their long-awaited new full length through Rocksound Magazine. The record is titled Rise and Fall, Rage and Grace and is due out June 17, 2008. It is the follow-up to Splinter which was released in 2003.

I've seen it. But I never really noticed it until I read something about them being around for twenty years. Dexter compared them to the Rolling Stones and Bad Religion. Because there is no more apt comparison than between the Offspring and the Rolling Stones.

Interesting tracklist, some title definitely don't sound like a "traditional" offspring title, in particular 2, 7 and 11. Still based on a couple tracks i've heard thus far, definitely going to be a solid release.

P.S. .org needs to update the picture, they've got a new drummer.

Actually I'm a drummer so I pay attention to these things...regardless of how much I dislike this band, I like both of them as drummers AND I also like the bands that they used to be in. Also, I am interested in knowing a little bit about something or someone before I choose to denounce them so that I have a valid reason of WHY I am denouncing them. I don't like to make a habit of prejudging something or someone without purpose. The only reason I AM saying "fuck this band" is because I DO know a little about them as a band, musically speaking. If I didn't know anything about them, then why would I form an opinion, negative or otherwise? Are you someone that just makes blind assumptions? Obviously you are.

Do us all a favor and think about what you are saying before you say it.

Not only do you make quick, unwarranted assumptions...you also engage in messageboard fights about the most RIDICULOUS of topics! Messageboard fights being a totally ridiculous thing in the first place, so that's a double for you! Way to go! Offspring Formula

Track 1 - Fast song
Tracks 2-4 - Catchy uptempo songs including a minor radio hit.
Track 10 - Goofy ska-ish party song
Track 14 - Longer, more experimental track unlike the rest of the album.

"No you don't," Dexter whispered, and kissed him furiously, wrapping his arms around Noodles and pulling at him, further crushing himself against the car. The moved awkwardly against each other, straining and thrusting, struggling for whatever pleasure they could find through their layers of clothing. Noodles's breath came hard and fast, and he shut his eyes and moaned loudly as he peaked and burst. Dexter moaned with him, in perfect unison, and warmth and moisture spread between them as they panted and shook.

The new ones suck. I read the weezer one until It was all scratched and I couldn't make it out anymore. The corporations are making you water down your ideas. Where are the male genitals in this one? Where are the anal probes? Sellout!

Sweet! The wait is over and the new Offspring album has finally happened at long last. One of the things they need now is the album cover. Anyway, I will definitely buy it when it's out, because I've been such a huge Offspring fan for over 10 years and they have changed my life ever since.

Just watched the documentary "Punk's Not Dead" that features the Offspring...cool dvd about the rise of punk in the 90's and it's current state today.
