The Offspring have revealed the details of their long-awaited new full length through Rocksound Magazine. The record is titled Rise and Fall, Rage and Grace and is due out June 17, 2008. It is the follow-up to Splinter which was released in 2003.

Interesting tracklist, some title definitely don't sound like a "traditional" offspring title, in particular 2, 7 and 11. Still based on a couple tracks i've heard thus far, definitely going to be a solid release.

P.S. .org needs to update the picture, they've got a new drummer.

"For fuck's sake, Noodles, why am I doing this?" His voice was thin, worn ragged from tears. Noodles stepped closer, and Dexter turned to face him. The fear on his face was more evident than ever; it seemed to glow in the thick darkness, like a roadsign: gathering light from nowhere and throwing it back at Noodles, stinging his eyes. Noodles took another step, stopping inches away from Dexter.
"You're beautiful, Dexter." He reached up gingerly, laying a warm hand on Dexter's cold face. Dexter closed his eyes, leaning into Noodles's touch and nuzzling his hand. Noodles's heart beat furiously; he had never been so frightened in his life. Disgust mingled with desire in his gut, and two sides of his brain shouted at each other: "What are you doing?" and "More, more, more..."
He leaned in, gently, and kissed Dexter, slipping his tongue into the warmth of his best friend's mouth. Dexter succumbed immediately, melting limply between Noodles and the car, squeezing his eyes shut, kissing back with all the frenzy he could muster. Noodles pressed against Dexter, pinning him to the side of the car, feeling the heat of their bodies fuse them together in the cold of the night. He felt himself swell, and pushed harder, feeling a similar hardness pressing back. He broke the kiss momentarily to speak: "I love you."
"No you don't," Dexter whispered, and kissed him furiously, wrapping his arms around Noodles and pulling at him, further crushing himself against the car. The moved awkwardly against each other, straining and thrusting, struggling for whatever pleasure they could find through their layers of clothing. Noodles's breath came hard and fast, and he shut his eyes and moaned loudly as he peaked and burst. Dexter moaned

Sweet! The wait is over and the new Offspring album has finally happened at long last. One of the things they need now is the album cover. Anyway, I will definitely buy it when it's out, because I've been such a huge Offspring fan for over 10 years and they have changed my life ever since.
