Canadian Straight Edge band Liferuiner has posted a new song from their upcoming Uprising Records release, Taking Back the Nightlife.

i remember seeing their merch guys myspace back in the day. it was covered in X's and sXe quotes and shit, but his display pics were all of him being topless, and his background was of an import car with an asian chick half naked ontop of it. how LifeRuiner is still a band is beyond my comprehension.

It's even worse than punk news is letting on.
It's CHRISTIAN Canadian straight edge.
And, correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't a large part of being straight edge about being healthy? So what's with their singer, chubby mcchipmunk cheeks? I don't think coronary disease or high blood pressure is very 'core.

and no band that has a lead vocalist that is as douchey as Jonny OC will ever go anywhere. just go to any show in toronto and watch him sit behind the drummer so everyone can see him. what a fuckin rock star.

also: they have a song called "God made AIDS for pieces of shit like you".

One of the founding members and former singer, Jonny OC, recently left the band on their American tour, Jonny (26) was often the center of much controversy about many statutory rape accusations. These accusations left Liferuiner with a sullied name across most of the American metalcore scene; Jonny's departure will open up many opportunities for the band.
