Rx Bandits and Portugal. The Man have announced tour dates together this summer. On separate legs of the tour the bands will be joined by Facing New York, Kay Kay & His Weathered Underground and Maps & Atlases.

I'll be at July 29th in Baltimore. Sooo disappointed Kay Kay & His Weathered Underground will not be at this date.

As much as I love Kay Kay, I have to be honest: I've seen the band close to 10 times now, and *every* time, they've played the exact same setlist. If you have their DVD, you've seen the set.

I'm really hoping that's changed now that the album is available (I know that at the release show, they played the album in full from beginning to end). Not that it matters, they're still a great group of performers. I'm pissed I skipped their show last night in favor of getting a good night's sleep.

I passed on the RX Bandits last time they came to Seattle because they were supporting Gym Class Heroes, and I didn't want to pay up the ass for those tickets.

This time, however...I will be there. It doesn't hurt that my summer classes end EXACTLY on the 15th, either.

That show was hands-down the worst fucking crowd I've ever been around (and I say that having seen Korn in concert...don't ask). RxB went all-out, even though it was obvious there were very few people interested in them. GCH (guilty pleasure) put on a pretty decent set, but their fans are just awful people. I left after about 3 songs because of them.

Fun fact: I ran into Cory and Erin of Minus The Bear at the bar during one of the openers. That was neat.

I had two friends going to that show FOR the Gym Class Heroes over the Rx Bandits. One of them only decided he liked the Rx Bandits after he saw them, but the fact that they went to GCH and loved it killed me a little bit inside. I would also like to add that I would rather go deaf than listen to Cupid's Chokehold one more time.

However, I'm jealous about your MTB encounter. That's some sweet shit. What all did the Bandits play? I'm hoping for at least a handful of tracks off of Progress.

it must be so fucking rad to be the rx bandits. their fans are awesome, they get to tour the country constantly and see sets from amazing bands every night, their own label, and they just won't STOP! every time i see them they've got some sick new stylings to their songs, and excellent jams throughout. did any of you guys get to check out Sundaze 08 in bethlehem? rx and the wailers for free, with free energy drinks, hackysacks, frisbees, a jumping room, free t shirts, goddamn
