May 31, 2008 Capitol Perth, Australia . i will be here... already have my ticket. last year dropkicks were supported by a perth band called jaws. who played hardcore. fit in nicely with dropkicks. especially when they throw in some older tracks :)

I'm still a sucker for this band. Once of my first hardcore shows was SOIA and Black Train Jack when Scratch the Surface came out, then again a year or two later with Snapcase and AFI opening. They've been great live every time I've seen them.

There were only 100/150 people at Cesena yesterday and the few presents were half asleep. But they still did a kickass show, Lou incitated the crowd to make some noise between every single song. It was obvious that he was flogging a dead horse, but still he insisted and finally on the last two songs he managed to get everybody mode and create a decent pit (braveheart on Scratch The Surface always works). It's amazing how a band that has been around for so many years and is so respected still give everything they have even in front of a small and unresponsive crowd from a totally different part of the world. These guys are all that is right about hardcore and punk.

The June 21st show on Fields Of Rock in the Netherlands seems to be incorrect: that festival has been cancelled. They are scheduled to play the Powerfest in Geleen on June 22nd instead: www.thepowerfest.nl | Features
