Videos: Pelican: "Dead Between The Walls"

Pelican have posted the new video from their 2007 full length, City of Echoes. Of course, Europeans and Canadians can't watch the video because its hosted by MTV and well, if you aren't American, you don't deserve to see this video. So stop trying, ya commie.

Anyway, guitarist Larent Schroeder-Lebectalks a bit about the video and you can read his description of the experience shooting Pelican's first video here.

This band is totally fucking boring. If they are going to be instrumental, they should shred, like Liquid Tension Experiment or something. This is just crappy emo with really long songs and no whiny vocals.

These guys are playing next door to my house for the next two nights. I guess the members used to be NYHC jarheads complete with phony Bronx accents, now they're into cool-guy metalcore.

pelican is really great to see live, but their recordings bore me. if you're into instrumental rock you gotta check out this band from trenton/philly called Imbala.
saw that shit a few weeks ago in a little bar, fucking blew me away. talented dudes. mogwai is rad too but mellower
