In an interesting example of "crowdsourcing," Ted Leo, along with Tom Scharpling and the listeners of WFMU's The Best Show on WFMU wrote a song together in about two hours talking about the "Hipster Apocalypse."
Using lyrics written with the listeners, Leo and company wrote and recorded the song and the song itself was premiered live on the radio. You can check it out here. Touch and Go Records (27 comments)

Can someone please make a "single edit" of this song (aka chop it out of the broadcast) and post it? I would but I'm technologically inept when it comes to A/V stuff. 3+ Replies

I'm not a huge Ted Leo fan, is it just the first 3 minutes and something seconds of the broadcast? 1+ Reply

I really like when bands do something new and creative like this. Ted Leo is a pretty cool guy.
