Manchester Orchestra, who incidentally are from Georgia, have posted the latest video from their 2006 album, I'm Like a Virgin Losing a Child.

Did you know they're up for a Latina Award or whatever it's called? "Best Independent Artist." Either every hispanic musician in the world is a corporate shill, or the judges don't speak any english and thus cannot comprehend how unfathomably awful the lyrics are.

so what if they sound like Brand New and Jesse Lacey, christ you close-minded idiots, you could spend 10 days straight comparing bands that sound a like in the music industry. I love Brand New, and Man. O. is absolutely incredible. And trust me, I know WAY more about music than you. Seriously.

I like this band but until I had a chance to hear them I was really confused by their name. As for the Brand New comparison thats pretty spot but I'd say they flex their technical chops a little bit more. Their drummer has some really weirdly timed patterns.

I do listen to Brand New, and I still like this band. Everything about their album is so great, and they put on a stellar live show.
