The Bronx have posted a song from one of their recently announced records. The album is expected in September of this year.

Haven't gotten there yet. Still on 'Casanova' I love this thing. Bring on the pre-order for the LP, I'll buy 2 copies and make sure somebody less informed is gifted.

On first listen, wow they really meant a "'59 sound", there's virtually no distortion. The album sounds very retro with all the vocal reverb, but they change things up a lot with the sound. Unfortunately, they seem to be reusing some old song skeletons and just adding different production to several of the tracks. Title track and "Here's Looking at You, Kid" are my favorites so far...I like "Cowgirls" but I swear I've heard that melody before.

Given it two spins through so far, and yeah agreed. It's an album you can fall in love with. I'm saying this will be in the top 3 albums of the year. Casanova, Baby! could very well become my favourite track of the year.

I like it a lot. I enjoy that the band has slowed down some of their songs (not everything can be "Heart Attack American") but they've kept a very heavy edge to them. Really excited to hear this (also for this and the El Bronx vinyl).

I recorded them at the warped tour the other day (they played this song and said it was the latest addition in their "Predator" series) and it came out half-awesome....it would have been golden if I didn't have the small conversation with a old friend I ran into halfway into this song. Fuck.
By the way, this song is great, but it's much better live.
