We have left Lobster Records and we'll be recording and releasing our new record Remember Why You Came This Far on our own. For the sake of everyone involved, we don't want to get into the details of why but all we will say is we gave Steve more than enough opportunities to make this situation happen a smooth and fair one. A big thanks to Steve and past Lobster employees Kevin, Casey, John, Chunk and any one else who had a hand in helping us. In other news, things have obviously been running very slowly for us these past few months. Once we decided to do this record ourselves, we knew we needed to get the money to do so which is what we've been spending this time doing. The record is written and ready to go and we're super excited to get it out to you guys. Recording starts in a few weeks so get pumped! The band released Listen. React last year.

All dickhead posts aside, here's a serious one. Steve from Lobster/Oort Records is ALMOST as much as a money hungry pig as Tony Brummel. I know from personal experience. Here's what went down. I managed to get ahold of his personal email address and sent him a message about my old band. Not only did he respond, but he was really, really into the music. We had been conversing back and fourth on the phone about possibly working together when he mentioned that Lobster records was in legal trouble because Steve agreed to work with Tony from Victory who apparently fucked Steve over. (Surprise, surprise.) So he started Oort records until the Lobster deal was fixed. He told me things like "the Oort contract is only ten pages long. you don't even have to have a lawyer look at it!" And "Your band is going to be booking most of the shows for touring, and you'll be buying your tour van show rest of comment 10+ Replies

This is not good to hear, I use to love Lobster records, like the good old days with Whippersnapper
