Hatebreed announce, detail live DVD

Hatebreed have announced details and a release date for their forthcoming live DVD. It is titled Live Dominance and is due out September 02, 2008. The DVD will include the band's entire 80 minute show shot in front of a sold-out crowd at Harpo's in Detroit on the Supremacy tour, plus additional live concert footage shot all over the globe in such cities as Philadelphia, New-Haven, New York and more.

The Harpo's Detroit show was shot entirely in hi-definition and directed by Kevin Custer with musical production/mixing from Grammy Award winner, Josh Wilbur (Lamb Of God).

Vidtech AV in Lisle. Kinda sucks, it's an AV/staging company with a video division consisting of me and 2 other people, but I get to do some neat stuff now and then that gets aired on comcast or the occasional national news channel.

Awesome, its going to include the very inciteful lyrics such as (I am paraphrasing) "If you don't live for something then you'll die for nothing"!

Icepick > Hatebreed. Why? Cause if the lyrics are going to be simplistic, at least they should be funny.

I am more offended by their misrepresentation with titles.
Such as "The Rise of Brutality". Who are they talking about, not themselves I hope? Hatebreed isn't THAT heavy/brutal. Tuning a guitar down 2 steps doesn't make it heavy (Dillinger Escape Plan plays in standard E and is far more intense than self-proclaimed "brutal" bands). Hatebreed is actually pretty darn catchy and accessible for metalcore. And "Supremacy" as if they are the best in their class? Well, they aren't the worst, but they are pretty mediocre at best.

if you knew anything about harpos, it certainly wouldn't help anything. that place is always full of skinheads. only venue i've ever seen guys walking around with nazi logos on their shirts

Yeah, that place is a shithole. I wouldn't go back again even if a show was free, fuck that place. I miss St. Andrews, only get there once every couple years now. Don't/Didn't you work there or am I thinking of someone else?

yeah i'm the barback. been there for 7 years, its really too bad we don't have as many shows as we used to. hopefully it'll pick way up for the fall

Yeah, what's up with all the show's at Mac's and the Howell Opera House and other random places these days. Even Royal Oak gets into the act once in a while. What kinda shows is the Shelter having these days? I think the last show I saw there would have been Guttermouth/Nobody's and that was maybe 7-8 years ago.

I can't imagine that WalMart would have a single album that I would be willing to pay more than 50 cents for. On the plus side, CDs there are probably 3 for 99 cents.
