cheesy? yes. lame? maybe. but it is definitely the best album title ever

It's like they took everything terrible about the 80's and somehow made it awesome.

It's hard to think of a more talented band that I still can't help but laugh at. I'm not familiar, so I don't know if they're trying to be so blatantly over-the-top, but I really hope not. That was the stuff of fable.

My brother loves this band so much he started a pseudo gang, devoting their faith to Dragonfartz, called the "Warriors" He pretty much sucks. After much discussion about how Dragonforce can pretty much only write 1 song, he still thinks that they are demigods. How do I get him to realize that his taste in music is terrible, and he is heading down a one way road to embarrassment?

Was that video just a cheap cover up to make me look at the guitarists croch for 1minute straight?

Ultra shredding, ultra ridiculous, and pretty rad. This band is like a total novelty with the chops to back it up. Pretty rad to listen o when I am in a mood to embark on a quest to slay dragons, storm castles, and hunt george w.

All their solos sound approximately the same, yet I cannot get enough of them.

So who's like me?

I can listen to about 4/5ths of a single Dragonfoce song, then I have to put something else on.

I feel bad for the bassist. No matter how good he is, he has to stay in the back and try not to get in the shots of the guitarists. He could be amazing but still not come close to casting a shadow in the guitar riffs. Poor bastard.

Ultra Beatdown is most certainly one of the best album titles of all time. As if "beatdown" wouldn't have been a cool title on its own, they decided to put the word "ultra" in front of it sort of like some point multiplier.

This band is so incredibly cheesy but I still dig it if only for the fact that it's really really fast and really really unique. Not very unique from song to song, but they definitely own their own space in music and don't have to share it with anyone.

Satanic Surfers did it better.

These guys are fun and funny,two things sorely lacking in metal.BUT, in between taming draons and going on quests and stuff,why dont they take a breather and...ya know.. find the fucking song! It seems this is the only power-metal band non metal fans will gravitate to because the overblown histrionics are funny or like ironic or something. They have no tunes. Worse than Yngwie Fuckin Malmstein. Finger Jocks. Try out Blind Guardian,Helloween,Hammerfall,Gamma Ray,Dear ol' Iron Maiden and for sheer musicality AND hiliarousness.....MANOWAR fuckos!! Plus,Ultra Beatdown???? Those skinny nerds couldnt beat there way out of The Shire!!!
