The reunited California punk legends Face to Face have announced that Danny Thompson (of The Uprising) has been recruited as the band's new drummer. He will be filling in for former drummer Pete Parada during the reunion dates, due to touring commitments with The Offspring.
Until this year, Face to Face had been defunct for five years. They got back together this past January for to perform at this spring's Bamboozle, and have continued to perform multiple live venues since. Face to Face also recently announced another run of reunion dates this fall. Face to Face (94 comments)

Everyone knows "How to Ruin Everything" is the prequel to Propaghandi's "How To Clean Everything". 2+ Replies

These guys were never that good, but they had a really embarassing spiral towards the end. Let sleeping dogs lie. 2+ Replies

Punk legends? What musical contribution/revolution did these guys help create? - aside from giving frat boys music to date rape to.. Bro-punk - another reason to make fun of California. 5+ Replies

I like them somewhat. I haven't followed them for years, but if they come around my town I'll probably go see them. I like a good circle pit. Nowadays, its hard to getting but stupid dick-moshing windmill kicks.

Why is everyone bagging on these guys? "Don't turn away" is one of the best punk albums of the 90's. 3+ Replies

Bro-Punk to date rape to? Shut your fuckin mouth man. I don't care about the term "Legends" being used to describe these guys, but they're awesome, one of my faves. Go listen to one of Shiflett's or Riddle's bass leads and just try to say they suck idiot.

Despite the overwhelming pessimism, I'm willing to give them a chance with the new drummer. I hate Offspring, so I'll probably skip this tour but I'll definitely check out whatever they record. | Features

5 years seems really short when you don't care. Big Choice was the last thing they cranked out that got my money. I heard that 'covers' record and wanted to punch them in their fat faces.
