Tours: Joey Cape (Acoustic)

Lagwagon and the Playing Favorites (and Bad Astronaut) frontdude Joey Cape is going to playing a couple acoustic shows in September. The first will be on Sunday 7 September at Cez Exo in Quebec, Canada. The second will be the upcoming Suburban Home 13th Anniversary. The third will be in New York City with Jon Snodgrass on the 18th. Details are below.

Update: Apparently the Quebec show is invite-only. Sorry for the confusion.

Damn Snodgrass and Cape on the same bill would be so amazing. I think that Suburban Home show should become a touring festival

A Suburban Home package tour would be amazing. Especially a front-man package tour.

John and Chad from DTR, Joey Cape, Jason Shevchuk. That would be something to see.

i saw lagwagon play in germany about 10 years ago, and i guess they hadn't played for a while, or something. all these american high school (presumably military brats) kids were there, yelling requests for older songs. the band remembered them, but joey had forgotten the words. so some kid kept yelling out the same request, and joey was like "um...i don't remember the words to that one." the kid finally was like "well, let me sing it then!" and he did.

made that kid's night, i think. he was stoked.

When the hell is Jon Snodgrass going to release a solo record? This needs to happen sooner than later.

As for Joey Cape, I couldn't think of something more boring to listen to than him playing his melodramatic shit acoustic. pass.
