some friends of mine were on tour from california. 3 or 4 bands, packed into 3 cars/vans/etc, caravaning around the country. they played in texas somewhere, and their next show was in georgia or something. one of the guys was a super huge elvis fan, and wanted to see graceland while they were on tour. he kept telling everyone how excited he was to see graceland. they played in texas, spent the night, and hit the road. he didn't bother getting any directions, figuring there would be signs from the freeway, etc. they get to nashville, but there aren't any signs. they get off the highway, drive around hoping to find some signage directing tourists to elvisworld. nothing. finally, they stop at a gas station and ask a local for directions, figuring SOMEONE should know where the hell the king of rock and roll's palace is. no one knows. eventually, another tourist over show rest of comment 2+ Replies

Never heard of them. Great name referrence! Too bad Lifetime is the only decent influence (and not very similar to MxPx or the PoopieLife). Not sure if i want to check out any other Drive-Thru style pop bands.

The Dolarhyde character from Manhunter has to be one of the creepiest looking motherfuckers in the history of cinema. 3+ Replies

Mxpx is just not good. But The Movielife and Lifetime rule hard. These guys seem cool too.

I'm wearing my Movielife shirt, and was all I like the influences, and then I don't really like his voice... Oh well, they aren't that bad, just not digging the vocals. | Features
