Black Mountain at Stanley Park Singing Exhibition with New Pornographers, Evaporators, Destroyer

Black Mountain has been added to the upcoming Stanley Park Singing Exhibition in Vancouver, BC. The New Pornographers spearheaded event take place at Stanley Park's Malkin Bowl over two days to close out the summer. August 31st will feature a line up of Neko Case, Destroyer, the Evaporators, Andrew Bird and Deerhoof. The New Porns and Black Mountain will be on September 1st with Stevie Jackson of Belle and Sebastian, the 1900s and Visqueen.

i think that's the limp-wristed androgysaurus. their numbers were once high in the 70s and early 80s but they were hunted to near extinction throughout the late 80s and 90s. however, the new millenium has seen a resurgance in their population and they have since been taken off the endangered species list and put on the "please hunt" list.
