Jello to judge air guitar competition

San Francisco's legendary Jello Biafra has signed on to be a judge for the finals of the US Air Guitar Championship. The winners of this competition will go on to represent the United States in the world championship of air guitar, to be held in the land of troll metal, Finland. Biafra remarked:

"Today Air Guitar, tomorrow the Gong Show...and from there the world!"

Possibly unbeknown to Biafra, Comedy Central recently resurrected The Gong Show. No word on whether he has plans to judge for that program.

I pick Henry. Jello Biafra always seems so nervous/crazy when he talks.can´t listen to that for long.

I dislike Jello's spoken word, but I love his DK stuff. And I have never been able to get in to Black Flag, but I love Rollins spoken word.

Anyone else ever read this book? It's fucking hilarious and I highly recommend it if you haven't. There are so many great rock and roll geek references plugged in throughout.

The same way you judge the special olympics.

Also, I know somebody from your band. Aaron, from UIC. Same school as me. Small world. Haven't seen him in forever, though.

I don't know either of you but the college radio station I worked for at UIUC (wpgu) did a ticket giveaway for a show your band played at. I promoted it on the radio by saying it was the dirtiest sounding band name I had heard in a while.
