Comeback Kid announces new DVD

Canadian hardcore act Comeback Kid have announced the release of their first DVD. Along with a full length live show, the DVD will include a retrospective documentary. Dubbed ""Our Distance," the film uses intimate footage to follow the band both onstage and off, touring, and recording from Comeback Kid's first show to present day.

Alongside the documentary, the DVD features "Live in Leipzig" a live performance of Comeback Kid playing in Germany on November 23, 2007. A 17 track audio CD of "Live at Leipzig" is also included in the package. The set is due out October 14, 2008.

I think most of them are Mennonites from Winnipeg (which sometimes does not mean that you are especially religious, but at other times quite the contrary). I don't think that they play music for Jesus though.

haha we had menonites where I went to school. They had weird rules like they could ride in cars as long as the cars were black. They did pretty shitty work on the houses around there.

Actually they aren't. As far as I'm concerned there is some connection of one of the members to another band that seems to be slightly...uh...christian.

100% agree. broadcasting was terrible. i still listen to wake the dead and turn it around nostalgically, though.

I just googled it and it is only for Canada, fuck Canada. They need to play a few east coast shows with this tour, fuck the rest of the US too, all I want is a show at the Champ or the Church and I will be happy.

While Andrew is a far better vocalist than Scott, Comeback Kid musically was better when Andrew layed down all the strings. The bass playing on Broadcasting is awful, and Kyle seems to get lazier at drums by the album.

Live is ripping through, and its awesome they are putting a full length show. I prefer that to random songs from various shows. Netflix doesn't have this yet to save. They are usually pretty good with the music DVD selection.

The track list of this show is awesome, can't really decide which album is my fav, broadcasting was pretty good, had a bit more of a metal feel though. I can't wait to watch this DVD.
