YES, we have a new record coming out very shortly...so please help us spread the word by putting us in your top friends, sending bulletins, posting blogs on music sites, anything. Every little bit helps. We also are doing this on our own this time. Back to the early days of punk, no label and all DIY, so this is why really need all the help we can get from you guys. Details on the release are coming soon. The band released the cover art for the record, titled Time Sensative Material, earlier this summer. The band last released Matters in 2004, which now stands as their final record for longtime label Epitaph.

I bet if they grew swooshes and started playing really bad emo-metal, they'd still be on Epitaph.

The local newspaper in Tombstone, AZ is called the Epitaph.
I went to high school in a town of about 30,00 people about 25 miles from Tombstone. Some friends and I all wrote zines. We got the attention of the local newspaper, who got a few of us to come in and do an interview. Some of our zines were political, some were music oriented, some were just random collage stuff. (Mine was the latter.) During the interview, we were trying vainly to explain some of our naive politics, especially related to music and indie vs major labels....keep in mind we were in high school at the time. At some point, the newspaper staffer was sort of summing up what his understanding was. "so, you don't like major labels, right?" One of the zinesters blurts out "yeah, we hate epitaph!" The interviewer was completely taken aback, "What's wrong with Tombstone's lo show rest of comment

Epitaph has signed screamo/metalcore act Max Bemis. The band combines ass-whine with elements of douchebaginess and pussy-pissiness and notably drew attention with their cover of Sissy-Dick's "Loser Fat Kid of Stupid Band" The band plans to release his debut album in the fall. 1+ Reply

Another thing that actually OFFENDS me, which is hard to to these days, are the people who are pissed that musicians make money. The strange, slow, old people on punknews.org and the few annoying stragglers on this website. 3+ Replies

Yesterday I was at a 2nd hand recordstore and in the end I had two albums I wanted to buy, but only money for one. I took Guns'n'Roses Use Your Illusion 1 rather than The War on Errorism. 5+ Replies

Yellow_card (August 14, 2008)
Hats off to Pulley for creating independent music. Now that Epitaph has an open spot on their roster I suggest we all write them and see if they'd want to sign Yellowcard and maybe even release a greatest hits CD, but like I say "Every CD already is a greatest hits CD because the songs are all filler and no killer". If you don't believe me, pick up Paper Walls which came out on July 17th of 2007. 2+ Replies

I met Radinsky once and he actually talks like that. You know, with all the little rectangles and shit.

Mmmmm, Pulley.
VictorIkpeba24 (August 15, 2008)
I like almost every band of that style and era, but I've never gotten into Pulley, even though I tried.
ickefes (August 18, 2008)
Washed up? C'mon, you who made that claim know nothing about music. These guys are better musicians and make better music than most bands we read about on punknews. Is it the age thing? Probably since I assume most of the ones posting comments like that are in their teens. Regards

I think Mr. Brett is working on a deal to sell Epitaph to Ryan Seacrest. | Features
