sBACH (Spencer Seim of Hella) posts new songs, premiers new video

Nevada City, California's sBach, the solo project from Hella guitarist Spencer Seim, has posted three tracks to his MySpace page, as well as premiered his new video for the song "Track 02" on Pitchfork.tv. The album is due out August 19th, via Suicide Squeeze.

sBach is all set to hit the road this fall with These Arms Are Snakes.

Glad to see that Spencer has moved on from The Hills to being in a band, he is no doubt going to get them some airtime on the show, so hats off to them!
If you like melodic, powerful, insightful, heartwrenching pop-punk, check out Yellowcard's latest CD entitled Paper Walls, it's just over a year old (July 17th, 2007) and it still sounds as fresh, important and sincere as ever.

This cd is definitely kinda weird, but it's cool. Check it out if you like Hella. Also, check out the Advantage. They're a NES cover band. Great stuff.

indeed. I listened to it a few weeks back, and it's quite odd. each track is either hella-like math rock, or 8-bit chiptune stuff. I dig it a lot though, especially since I'm a fan of hella, and even more so of The Advantage.

Yeah, the chiptune stuff is pretty trippy. I have some old Spencer Seim chiptune stuff... It's cool. Let me know if you're interested.
