Wow, it's actually fast grindcore. I was expecting Head Automatica part 2 only labeled as hardcore.

Alright! Thursday and Glassjaw and grind music! I was just wondering, "Is there anything that would be the aural equivalent of having a homeless guy shit in my ear and then have it jackhammered in my brain by a dildo?". 1+ Reply

This is a lot more grinding and a lot less actual grind, in a good way. 2+ Replies

No matter how hard he tries, Geoff Rickly can do no wrong in my book. 3+ Replies

reluctantly crouched at the starting line. engines pumping and thumping in time. the green light flashes, the flags go up churning and burning they yearn for the cup. 3+ Replies

This isn't really bad, but it's not like Reversal of Man or Orchid. Maybe a bit like Majority Rule or page 99, but that's the closest to the "emo-violence" sound the band is toting itself as. The shouting feels really out of place and the screaming is put too much in the front, which is probably the biggest problem with the record.

I'd rather have a crab juice.
'Supergroups' are almost always anything but "super". At least Damn Yankees can deflect bullets with their combined powers.
