I bought it and I was pleasantly surprised, particularly in comparison to their last few albums. In college I really liked their live record "At the Show", and "Secret Weapon" sort of reminds me of that as far as the energy and the fact that several of the songs (like "Contention") remind me of their early '80s material.

i think "At the Show" is one of the best live albums EVER!! and i'm not even a huge MxPx fan. I can't remember which of the new songs i'm referring to but the one with the nasty little Matt Freemanesque bass line is sweet
