Less Than Jake plan GNV FLA 7-inch box set

Less Than Jake have announced plans to release a new 7-inch box set featuring music from the GNV FLA-era. It is due out November 11, 2008.

The set consists of live, acoustic or demo versions of album tracks as well as B-sides culled from the studio and stage, these three vinyl 7" singles offer exclusive content not available anywhere else. Included in the box will be the full GNV FLA CD album, a poster of the band, and a DVD of in-studio footage arranged and edited by LTJ trombonist Louis "Buddy" Schaub from the GNV FLA recording sessions and live performances from concerts and in-stores.

It had to be said. But while I'm here.........I fucking love "Does the Lion City Still Roar?" Is all of GNV that good? I haven't gotten around to getting it yet (cash is limited right now). If it's anywhere near as good as that song, I need to buy it pronto. Best song they've done in years.

I really enjoyed GNV FLA. I thought it was a solid album, with the horn section playing a larger role than it had of late.

As such, I'm stoked for this release.

I am a huge ska fan, and I thought GNV FLA was really great. It is probably there best since the Hello Rockview era. It is very solid all the way through. I think the best track is handshake meet pokerface, but that is just my opinion. If you can scrounge up the cash, I very highly recommend it. I am even thinking about ordering this set because the album is so solid.
