Tours: The Ergs confirm third show for "Last Show Weekend"

Many were disappointed to see The Ergs! call it quits, but the band is planning to make sure that fans have a chance to check them out during their Last Show Weekend. The band has now confirmed three shows, taking place in Philadelphia and New Jersey.

The band's final studio full length was Upstairs/Downstairs and the band most recently compiled 33 b-sides for the Hindsight Is 20/20, My Friend collection.

My old man lives in L.A.(lower Alabama) aka The FLA Panhandle,so I feel ya. If you cant get all the way to Atlanta or New Orleans,sometimes Pensacola and Ft. Walton Beach get some shows.

They should throw us Chicagoans a show outside Riot Fest to atone for the sad Mauled By Tigers spectacle. Please, just don't play. I respect that. It's really uncomfortable to see an entire tour self-destruct on stage.

Saw them at an old Oddfellows hall the Saturday night in Towson. Much better than when I first saw them play at a barbecue back in 2001. Though, at that show they played the riff from In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida over and over, requiring the audience members to randomly grab the microphone and shout a Simpsons quote until somebody repeated. Went on for a solid half hour I think. Fun times. With all the kids at the show on Saturday, I don't think that bit was really an option though.
