The Damned to release "So, Who's Paranoid?" soon

The Damned have unveiled details on their new album. The record will be titled So, Who's Paranoid? and will arrive soon via record label The English Chanel. The label will release the album digitally on October 28th, followed by a physical release on November 17th in the UK and the 12th of December in the US. The record will feature 13 new tracks. The cover art on display on the band's website looks like it may be a placeholder, but you can view it here.

The album follows up 2001's Grave Disorder.

Hmmmm.... TSOL, Vandals, Guttermouth, and now the Damned have all jumped ship from Nitro.

I'm starting to believe the guy from Jughead's Revenge that something's foul at that label.

Wilhelm Scream hasn't been able to secure their vinyl licensing rights for the Vinyl Co-Op project, so I have to wonder what's going on on that end.

Crime In Stereo went from Nitro to B9 which is odd.

It's a shame, Nitro was awesome at the beginning of the century.

I'll still buy it, since a crap Damned album is still better than anything in this century that's saddled with the name "John Lydon" on it....

I can't vouch for SLF, but I saw The Damned in 2003 and they were fantastic

I can say that the song "Democracy" from Grave Disorder was a phenomenal song... Although, they reused the opening to Smash it Up as the main riff... Don't know about the rest of the album.... But that song was great.

SLF was great the last time I saw em live,which was admittedly at least 5 years ago.The new stuff isnt that great though.I like the solo acoustic Jake Burns stuff. Word is their recent Europe shows are pretty damn good,perhaps getting Ali back on bass has re-invigorated them. Dont write these old tossers off just yet,they are one of the best punk or rock n roll bands ever.
