Foo Fighters's beloved 1997 album, The Colour and the Shape, is headed to Rock Band 2. The album will be featured as all twelve tracks and will run $19.99 per copy. Only a handful of full length albums have appeared on the service, but the popular music store has been a watershed event for musicians who have had significant sales through the online store.
A 10th anniversary edition of the album was released in 2007. Sony Music Entertainment (70 comments)

Can you play any Alkaline Trio on Rock Band or Guitar Hero? I think that would be cool. 1+ Reply

If they notate it correctly, drumming through "Everlong" should make you want to pass out. Also, I've never played the game, but I've seen people in Best Buy playing it and the hihat always seems to be on a right side pad, rather than on the left like most drummers who 'cross over' to play it. Playing Everlong with the 16ths on the hihat using both hands and then getting over the other way to the snare would prove difficult- can you change the assignment on the pads? 7+ Replies

I got albums from Static Radio and Boner Pilot. I don't regret it. Next: New Mexican Disaster Squad, or Loved Ones? 1+ Reply

In related news, I put an entire jar of Skippy peanut butter on my second sandwich, better known as "Sandwich 2." The sandwich was featured at lunch time, and it ran me about three-fifty. Only a handful my peanut butter sandwiches have appeared with jelly, but using a whole jar was truly a watershed moment for sandwich aficionados who embrace the peanut butter aisle as much as myself. 4+ Replies
