The Decemberists recently sat down for an interview with Rolling Stone to discuss their forthcoming album, Hazards of Love. The famous literary band's is promising 16 or so segments into a continuous, hour-long narrative suite that riffs on folk-song archetypes.
The story covers a woman named Margaret who is ravaged by a shape-shifting animal; her lover, William, who is desperate for the two of them to be reunited; a forest queen; and a villainous rake. Check out the interview here. The band delivered The Crane Wife in 2006. EMI Group (53 comments)

when I had a free subscription to Rolling Stone, they were all over this bands pants nuggets. it seems they still are. Rolling Stone tries too hard. they're a magazine for those people who want to think for themselves, but need someone to tell them what to think. 2+ Replies

Sweet. These guys are always gold. I can't wait for it to be after December 2 so I can finally get my Bridesmaid EP package.

Not really into this type of stuff but awesome band to listen to when you're studying or feeling depressed and get tired of listening to old Lucero.
