Aaron Cometbus of Crimpshrine and Cometbus 'Zine fame was recently interviewed on Put the Needle on the Record, a show on WFMU this past Friday.
Cometbus discussed his long-running magazine as well as his new project with Schwarzenbach of Jawbreaker/Jets To Brazil. As reported earlier, the band also includes Daniela Sea on bass. Sea performed in Berkeley punk rock acts the Gr'ups and Cypher In The Snow and most recently appeared on Showtime series The L Word. Check out the interview here. Radio (44 comments)

Is it sexist we keep having to remind ourselves there is a woman in the band, or is it acceptable because HOLY SHIT IT'S BLAKE AND COMETBUS? 6+ Replies

I had two outstanding No Idea orders and the one I ordered later came but the older one still hasn't arrived, should I be worrying that some fiend has ganked my shit? 5+ Replies

i enjoyed that. first time i've ever heard cometbus in an interview. it was kind of weird... he wasn't how i expected, but at the same time i don't know what i expected! wish i'd have known it was on so i could have listened live and asked him via the message boards what the deal was with the lazy art on the latest pin gun 7" | Features
