Star of "Twilight" to play Joan Jett

Kristen Stewart, the star of the Twilight, will be playing Joan Jett in a forthcoming biopic reports Billboard. The film will focus on Jett and keyboardist Cherie Currie who, along with Lita Ford and drummer Sandy West were among the most influential and popular all-girl punk/rock acts of the 70s.

The film will revolve around Jett and Currie and follow them from the band's meteoric rise as teenagers to their breakup. Video director Floria Sigismondi wrote the screenplay and is directing. Jett will serve as an executive producer.

She is ridiculously hot, I didn't even know she was in Twilight. Maybe I will see that stupid, stupid movie based on a stupid, stupid book (series) after all. I saw her in Zathura and some other stuff, for which she was the only reason worth watching as well.

Joan looks haggard these days, but I've always thought 80's Joan Jett was some of the hottest shit ever. Also, Lita Ford. Girls in rock were hotter in the 80's.
