That sounds like getting hit in the dick with a wiffle ball bat. I went to that thing at its start. Bands shouldn't be seen in the dirt and daylight. Just my opinion, but abbreviated sets and thousands of shitheads isn't fun to me.

I'm actually still at work so I haven't had the pleasure yet... But I got to open the package before I left the house today! Super excited to get home and watch it!!!

But really, I expect half of it to suck. I've gone every year since '97 so I know how much crap there is mixed in with the good. I usually get stoned and have a good time, but I can totally see why someone would want to avoid it (like all my friends who stopped going years ago and make me go alone... how's that for dedication?)

Batman and Robin is so awfully bad yet hilarious. If you watch it for it's comedy, it's ok, but still such a horrible horrible travesty of a "film."

I just read an interview with him where he said the exact same thing. However his new movie The Wrestler looks beyond autobiographical. He's a has-been, they'll bring him a suitcase full of Lincolns and he'll do whatever they ask.

I had a feeling Frank Miller couldn't direct his way out of a paper bag.

That's slightly disappointing, since i really like the look of those types of films.

on the other hand, it's got Samuel L Jackson dressed up like a Nazi, so perhaps there is some enjoyment to be had.

That's awesome. How did you end up getting to do that? I know I might sound kind of dumb here but man, the suits were pretty fun to watch getting organized, especially the ones with one foot on the staircase leading to where Bush was speaking.

Oh and yeah, Waco does suck. The only good thing for me about Waco is that The Queers will tour there every once in a while, and it's a pretty short drive from College Station.
