Videos: The Bouncing Souls: “Gasoline” (Pink Couch Session)

If You Make It has posted the latest in their Pink Couch Sessions. The Bouncing Souls sat down on the couch during this year's Fest 7. The band recorded an acoustic version of their recent digital release "Gasoline." You can check out the video here, at the Pink Couch Sessions site.

The song will also appear on a forthcoming 7" that will collect the entries from January through March plus a bonus track. The song was produced by Ted Hutt, who worked on 2006's The Gold Record along with recent recordings from the Gaslight Anthem, Flogging Molly, and Street Dogs.

I think I was too drunk to remember. I just remember they were awesome and I got thrown around a lot. And that they played old songs. And wore skeleton makeup. And played a Misfits cover. Someone said Dan Andriano sang a song with them, but I must have missed that one.

I will say there were a lot of "jersey" types when I saw them last in NY.

I'm just going to throw this out there, but I don't think Dane Cook is really all that funny. I watched Brian Regan last night and was considerably more entertained.

Jo Koy...eh so so. I don't like when comedians get on endless rants about their families. It's just not funny unless you have a relative like they are talking about or can relate to it. It especially gets old after 15 minutes on the same topic of your mother playing Nintendo Wii and having a wierd accent. I get it, she's asian. Ha ha ha.

I say go for the jokes about commonly held public beliefs, sayings, happenings, news, and events. You know, the stuff that everyone in the audience is in tune with and up to date on.

Thae acoustic versions they were doing on the last tour fuckin blew, I didnt pay 20 bucks to see Bouncing Souls mimic Dashboard Confessional. I saw these guys at gilman back in the day and they were amazing. Still good, just not $20 good, "Shows should be $5 or less do it for the kids"
