Marvelous Darlings writing LP, planning Japanese singles set

Toronto power-pop act the Marvelous Darlings recently announced that their first full length is in the works. The band, which lead by Fucked Up's Young Governor, is currently in the writing phase. Governor previously went by the name Ben Cook and performed in No Warning.

In addition the band is planning to release a singles collection CD in Japan via Tokyo's Base Records. The album will collect songs from their first three 7" singles and will be titled OTSUMAMI.

Hey im 15, and theirs blood with my poop?
idk if my mom will take me to a doctor, because weve been to so many. Heres the deal a couple months ago i went to the hospital, they said my tummy hurts cuz they seen alotta poop backed up {now i poop like almost everyday} but the last 2 days.. when i pooped, it hurt. And when i wiped myself, i saw a lil bright red blood. Theirs no blood in my poop, just on the toliet paper. Then the next day i got my period. Was it just my period that leaked to the back? But if it was why would my poop hurt when i comes out?

I have a super hard time taking this band seriously considering the No Warning connection.

When they saw that hardcore wasn't really cool any more they signed to a major label and started to sound like Linkin Park and shockingly broke up! Then once power pop becomes all the rage, why what's this, a power pop band! Wow! Then jump back into current indie darlings Fucked Up! What a track record!

I'm definently not trying to be a jerk, but man, watch the things he jumped between and i'm sure everyone has done similar jumps, the difference is that no one really care about us.

So, you were super into Ramones at one time and you might've played in a band like that. Then imagine if you'd hang out with a few crusties and started playing music with them and while it was all fun and that you needed something a bit less intense and hooked up with some college buddies or whatever and played some indie rock. Then the band you played Ramones covers with 5 years ago revamped themselves a while ago and got a record deal and invited you back because of old times.

Sometimes genre hopping looks very apparent but you know, that guy is also just a kid like anyone else, only difference is that he was actually stoked on Madball at one time.

I can definitely see your point but I still can't help but notice the timing of all of it. And I'm not even a bitter old No Warning fan or anything (I'm not actually too big of a fan of any of this guy's groups; don't hate any of them but won't listen of my own choice), I'm just a curious observer with slightly too much time on my hands sometimes.
