Our stream today comes from Denton, TX-based The Marked Men. We've got a stream of the band's new full length, Ghosts. It's the first new record from the band since 2006's Swami Records-released Fix My Brain.

I picked this up on vinyl the other day at Celebrated Summer along with the last Dead Mechanical album and the new Statues single. All have been fighting for a spot on my turntable as all are ridiculously excellent.

Actually now that I think about it, I wasn't even the one getting food. We went down the street so my buddy could get something, and he's a veggie like yourself.

So therefore, I blame Emo's poor time management (missed half of World Burns To Death's set too and vegetarians. All of them.

Technically my office is closed right now (the door is locked!) but four people still showed up so we're sort of working. To my left, a co-worker is looking at shoes online. To my right, one is using google street view and looking at her house. I'm doing this and half thinking of some interview questions.

It's a productive day.

Yeah sometimes it's a killer. God, the one time I interviewed Jake from The Casualties I was pulling my hair out trying to think of interesting stuff but just couldn't do it at all. I ended with a SUPER lame interview that never actually got published. Whatever.

I'm working right now on stuff for the Swingin' Utters and Street Dogs so it's not too bad but I just don't feel like doing it any more, but I'm not sure if there's enough to go ahead and actually make the calls/send the emails.

Where do the rest of the UK get their vinyl from? I see a gap in the market for a UK based orgcore distributor. Imports are not too bad at the moment, even with the £ being shit. I can get two 12"s from the Asian Man website for about £20, which is very good. The postage on other sites isn't so good, however (understandably). I wouldn't mind using something a bit more local. Something about me feels bad for giving the USPS all my money rather than being taxed to shitdom by Mr Brown. Hmm..
