State Of Mind Recordings Sign Racing Exit 13

New York based indie label State Of Mind Recordings has announced the signing of Staten Island, NY punk rock band Racing Exit 13.

The label had this to say:

We are very pleased and honored to announce that we will be working with Racing Exit 13! They are from New York. If you're a fan of early Movielife, Kid Dynamite, Face to Face, etc. Then you'll really dig these guys.

They recently recorded 13 tracks at Exeter Recordings, which will be release by us at a date that is still TBA.

The full length is titled All We Need... and you can check out some music on their myspace page.

These dudes are rad. I saw them play a gig in Pompano Beach for like 3 people, but they had an amazing amount of energy.

Fucking finally! I've been a huge fan of these guys ever since Ms. Onegirlarmy introduced me to them. I downloaded the album through the SnoCap box on their myspace page and I fucking love it. And considering I've never been a Kid Dynamite fan, I'll go so far as to say I think they kick the shit out of Kid Dynamite (oh dear, blasphemy!!). I'm just glad this is gonna get an official release so I'll have something better than 160kbps mp3's to listen to. Oh, and "Willy B" and "Get This Band Some Laces" are my favorite jams.
