The Chicago Reader spoke with a number of the labels affected by last week's unexpected shutdown of Touch & Go distribution. The long-running indie label was forced to close down their distributor due to "the current state of the economy"

Wow. Sounds like it was a little shady. Most of these folks seemed to have no idea this was coming. You think you'd give them a little heads up. I mean, I understand not wanting to scare clients and possibly lose business but a little notice would have been nice. 4+ Replies
