Media: Cursive: "From the Hips"

Cursive have released another new song from their upcoming album. he record is titled Mama, I'm Swollen and is due out March 10, 2009. The band has confirmed an appearance on Late Show with David Letterman for March 13th.

I'm really excited about this album, you have no idea. Every song I've heard off of this is superior song writing and I think this will be the album of the year. No pun intended.

I listened to Help Wanted Nights for the first time in awhile last night. It's a great album. I don't know why I don't listen to it very much. I hope this is good.

I was at one of those shows where they played the album all the way through, and if it sounds anything like that on record it's going to good.

I made it to one of those too. I'd never seen a crowd get so into songs they didn't know. I have high expectations for this new album.

This song is better than the last one....but it seems like its getting more and more difficult to distinguish Good Life and Cursive.

I already like this record better than Happy Hollow, but I doubt it'll be on par with any of their releases prior to that.

Whenever I decorate cakes at work, I write on them in cursive whenever the customers wants a message on them. Well, it's kind of like writing, anyway. Sometimes I have to get on the internet and look up what certain letters look like, because I haven't written a capital G in cursive since the fourth grade or something.

I realized the same thing like two years ago, and retaught myself how to write in cursive. Now my handwriting is even more incomprehensible because I switch back and forth arbitrarily.
