Nine Inch Nails: "Wish (with Dillinger Escape Plan)"

Nine Inch Nails performed their track, "Wish," with help from Dillinger Escape Plan live in Adelaide last month. The original song comes from Nine Inch Nail's 1992 EP, Broken and the song was covered by DEP for their 2006 EP, Plagiarism.

The footage is available in HD quality right here. Some other HD recordings from the same show are also streaming there.

Speaking of Dillinger, anyone going to the SXSW D4 show at Red 7 on the 20th? I'm definitely going but I kind of need to kill some time before The Queers go on at 12:50. Fuck it, I'll just get hammered.

Any of you nerds watched the Watchmen motion-comic? It's pretty awesome, just "WISH" that they would have gotten a girl to do the girl voices... other than that, it's enjoyable.

I got it, it's worth the buy. 15 bucks at Target plus you get a free ticket to the movie. Can't go wrong... so basically a 7 dollar purchase.

THe movie Man Hunt is so much better than Red Dragon... assuming we are talking about the same one.

I've generally liked Nine Inch Nails stuff. I'm not gonna bust a ball over it but it's usually pretty good. I just don't get the insanity over it. Also, the fact that Trent was a design major and chose the name for it's look and apparently had a name, logo and look before he had any music doesn't set too well...But whatever, the good music followed.

Do you even know anything about the band? Like, honestly? The guy gave a big fuck you to his record label, releases shit on his own, makes quite a bit of money in the process, and is consistently innovated in his approach to marketing his music, as well as having fan interaction, encouraging ripping and streaming of their videos online, as well as their website.

I'm pretty sure Trent Reznor is well beyond relevant.

completely agree. i've missed too many opportunities to see this band. definitly going to check out this last tour, especially if it is going to be his last. the dvd's they have put out are visually amazing, i know they are going to be stripped down this time out, but nin stripped down is still a bigger production then most bands im sure. also i think most of the kids on this site that don't appreciate nin were born after 1990. hell i was in junior high when the downward spiral came out

I don't think they get the credit they deserve. Trent Reznor has taken more chances than most "independent" artists ever do, he refuses to compromise and I thoroughly respect him for it.

I'm really hoping it's not the final NIN tour, too. I've always wanted to see what a NIN concert was like, and if these youtube videos are any suggesting, it's loud and every one seems to be (ironically) having a great time.

DEP did a cover of wish at one of the soundwave sideshows with keith buckley THAT was awesome. anyway, i would do nasty things to trent and greg yum yum they look alike from behind :P

Most of the bands on this site wish (no pun intended) that they could write three albums as good as Pretty Hate Machine, Downward Spiral, or The Fragile.
