Fall Out Boy and 50 Cent to tour together

Rapper 50 Cent will be sharing the stage with Fall Out Boy for five dates of their 'Believers Never Die' tour this summer. The five shows will kick off in Denvas on April 14th and more dates may be added in the future.

According to the NME report, opinions on the pairing are... mixed with one Fall Out Boy fan noting: "I would rather eat my own crap literally than listen to 50 Cent."

Update: The rapper spoke to MTV:

This will be a major moment in music history, oining forces with Fall Out Boy, one of the most dynamic rock bands in the industry, will be an exciting and historic event for rock and hip-hop. This is a chance for me to bring my music not only to hip-hop fans, but to a broader music audience.

Fall Out Boy also added:

We've been fans of 50 since we heard 'Wanksta' in '8 Mile,' We've wanted to do something with him for awhile, and having him out on the tour is gonna take the show to a whole new level. It's exciting to bring two different genres together and give the fans a new experience.

Uhhhh, Blink 182 already did this with Bubba Sparxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx. I believe they toured a lot more than 5 days together too, and they only charged a dollar for the damn show. If that wasn't a major moment in music history, I highly doubt this will.
