Fat Wreck should have signed Much The Same, or they should sign No Trigger for their next album. 7+ Replies

The vocals took me a couple listens to adjust-but man, I love these guys. Such a fun album. 2+ Replies

yeah this seems like sort of a strange signing, I'm not sure I've heard of them either and they play that pure Epifat sound that well is kind of boring to me. Oh well I'm sure they are good at what they do. 2+ Replies

Alright it's obviously nothing new but I'm really digging this. I'm a sucker for that 90s epifat sound 9+ Replies

i actually think i used to have this. got it used, enjoyed it for a month and then forgot about it. it'll be interesting to hear some new material...which i guess won't be coming out this year.
Seth_Uber_Alles (March 19, 2009)
Who the fuck? C'mon Fat. This sucks. 90's "skate" punk is irrelevant. 10+ Replies

I'm lovin' this. Sounds like what Offspring should have put out instead of that shitshitshit they released last year. 2+ Replies

Am I racist or are all the bands on Fat with black guys sub par? 4+ Replies

I went to VCU, but when I was there, our basketball team sucked. Now we have the best point guard in the country, and a coach that looks like he wants to stab someone. I love Richmond. Fuck UCLA. 4+ Replies

Holy fuck, the Oilers just brutalised the Avalanche tonight. It's seriously a fucking slaughter. They made up for that embarrassing loss on Saturday, that's for sure. 2+ Replies

U2 is my band of the moment. I officially quit punk rock. 1+ Reply

Wait. Denny's has meals for $2.99 and they're open all night. Shit. Denny's is gross, but I could get into that. Too bad there's none near my house. Also, this band sounds kind of lame. C'mon, Fat. You just signed TBR. Do you really need anyone else? at all?

I don't generally have an orgcore bias but honestly I'm listening to Off With Their Heads right now and I'm thinking "Shit, and Pour Habit got signed to Fat?" 3+ Replies

I saw these guys at Frosty Heidi & Frank's birthday bash last year in LA at the Fonda. Meh.
jeffernator (March 20, 2009)
there were bands i thought would have been a better choice in my opinion, but whatever. i'm gonna go listen to the new propagandhi.
ChadReligion (March 20, 2009)
That asher roth song is horribly catchy.. I fucking hate it
SkolarX (March 20, 2009)
i could only get one song on thier myspace page to play and it sounded like slightly stoopid or pepper to me. not terrible but if i wanted to hear that sound i could get a non-watereddown version from sublime's first couple records
DrewXFishy (March 20, 2009)
this is fuckin great news
manincognito (March 20, 2009)
well, their press photo made me wary, but the comparisons of offspring are failrly accurate..as well as the angelo moore fronting strung out. all in all, i love 90s skate punk, and so i approve of this(not that anyone cares about my opinions, but hey).
android (March 20, 2009)
never heard of this band but this is some really good shit right there. I´m a sucker for 90s melodic punk, always was and always will be. the only thing bothering me about this is that they will put out an 2 year old album. that´s kinda lame.
jacknife737 (March 20, 2009)
I love orgcore as much as the next dude; but this stuff sounds pretty great. Nothing ground breaking, but neither are most of the band's that people seem to place on pedestals here, or any other site for that matter. I think the 90s sound is old enough that a revival wouldn't be too bad.
slymer-punx (March 20, 2009)
this band is utter shite!! could def see fat to start going down the road of signing some real bad fuckin bands.... 3+ Replies

It's not a matter of age at all, I'm 30 and I still love shit like this. I'll still love it when i'm 50. Anyway, awesome band. 1+ Reply

Pour Habit kicks ass! This is the first time I've ever heard them. The vocals are awesome, and their mix of ska and hardcore is very interesting. And THE SPEED! This is some very compelling hardcore. Although they sound similar to other bands, every aspect of their sound seems to rise above the mediocrity that plagues this genre of punk. It may be a throwback to an older sound, but what bands don't do that? There seems to be a modern flare in there, as well. They kick the shit out of Pennywise, even though that doesn't mean much. Humorous band name, too.
facetofacereunion08 (March 20, 2009)
it's always interesting when fat signs bands cuz they rarely do unlike epitaph and victory who sign a million
Tahoejeff (March 20, 2009)
I also understand that the teen idols are putting out a new record on Fat
trip0r (March 20, 2009)
Congrats to these dudes.. We played a show with them in LA a couple of years ago.. Fun as hell and nice guys to boot.
LongLiveKeithMorris (March 20, 2009)
I love these guys, we played a few shows together. If any band deserves to get signed it's definitely these guys. Go see them live! they tear shit up!
MonsterLobster (March 20, 2009)
This would be my new favorite band if I were still 16. A decade too late, guys. I still think it's pretty fucking hot.
Phantom_Maggot (March 20, 2009)
I have seen these guys open for Guttermouth a few times and they have never really done it for me...and obviously I am a sucker for the Epifat sound. | Features
