The New York Dolls have announced a rare concert in London at the historic 100 Club on the 14th of May. The proto-punk act will be supporting their new Todd Rundgren produced record Cause I Sez So. Details on the show can be found here.
The 100 Club maintains a special place in punk history for hosting what was arguably the first ever punk festival. On September 20th and 21st, 1976 the club brought together the Sex
Pistols, the Clash, the Damned, Siouxsie and The Banshees, the Buzzcocks
the Vibrators and Subway Sect.
The new record is doe out on May 5th in North America, and the day prior in the UK. It follows up to 2006's One Day It Will Please Us to Remember Even This.
