Ex-Fugazi member Joe Lally has announced a headlining tour over the next few months. The musician will be performing his solo material live with backing by Ricardo Lagomasino and Elisa Abela. The run will feature supporting act Gory Tellers.

My friend talked to Joe at one of the fort reno shows and brought up if fugazi was ever gonna play again and joe mentioned that he doesn't think so because he wants to move to france. Then I heard he did move to france but I'm not sure. I'm sure they'll play together again at some point but it's not in the forseeable future

I wanna see the Evens again. That was some rad shit.

And I never managed to see Fugazi, so I'd really love it if they got off of that hiatus and gave us a tour.

Fugazi put on some of the best shows I ever saw. They were great. I'd like to see them once more, I'd stoop to seeing them outdoors at Ft Reno.

They played in my hometown Colorado Springs 6 months after I moved.

I think that was one of their last tours too. Sucked.

In court papers filed in Los Angeles Monday, Coldplay responded to Satriani's copyright-infringement claim, saying the 52-year-old guitarist's song "lacks originality" and therefore was in no position to receive copyright protection.

So, ignoring for a second that Coldplay just accused someone of lacking originality (not unllike a butthole calling an armpit smelly), Coldplay is saying that it was okay that Satriani's song and theirs have the same melody, because both melodies are derivative and univentive?

And yet people love this band...

The people on the message board /b/ (don't go there at all) regularly pick out a random gamestop and hundreds of people end up calling that store all day asking if they have Battletoads. It's a funny prank but I can't imagine having to suffer through it.

Some people bitched about it being a Zelda clone, but really no one else makes games like that. It's fucking awesome, the combat is fun, the weapons are cool, the story is great, the graphics will blow you away, it's basically a perfect game.

Fucking Battletoads! That game fucking ruled so hard. I remember a friend asked me about it and I was just like "It's like Double Dragon...But in space and you ride hoverbikes and surfboards!" Of course I was 10 at the time so it may attribute to my lack of description.
