Media: The Menzingers: "Sunday Morning"

The Menzingers have posted a new song from their upcoming four song EP Hold On Dodge. The album will be released on 7" vinyl and digital download in May and will be their first release for Red Scare. It is the follow up to 2007's A Lesson in the Abuse of Information Technology.

it's not really what I expected, it's actually a lot better
although at one point the vocals have a weird death metal feel to them for like a second

Yeah it seems like they're trying to channel Chuck Ragan for a second and it's a bit forced. Ah well. Shitty quality on the stream so it should come out better on the real thing.

This EP is amazing. "They Speak of My Drinking But Never of My Thirst" may be the best song they've ever written.

That's all fine and good, but I actually think the 2nd song on here, Lilith Avi is the hit. All the songs are keepers though, it's a major breakthrough for them in my opinion.

The weird thing is, they actually wrote the songs and performed on the record. Atypical for most Red Scare bands where I do most the heavy lifting, but yeah.
