Throwdown set to record "Deathless"

Throwdown have announced plans to hit the studio this week to begin tracking their new album, Deathless. The record is the band's first since 2007's Venom & Tears and will be their first for E1 Music (formerly Koch Records).

The band, undoubtedly inspired by Oprah, has set up a Twitter page to document recording.

I'm pretty excited to see Tim Barry and Austin Lucas tonight. Seems like that tour comes highly recommened. Plus its at the old Knitting Factory, which means cheap PBR. Fuck Webster Hall and their $9 Budweisers.

I saw that. I have high hopes. Last time they came--The Falcon, Sundowner, and The Lawrence Arms....on a booze cruise, literally, and I fucking missed it.

Last I saw em was the Sundowner, The Falcon and American Steel tour at The Casbah (about 200 capacity) in San Diego.

It was so awesome.

I think it's all part of his "act" but it was the only reason I watched "Throwdown" to watch him get beat. If he pulled that shit with me, I'd throw a pot of boiling water in his eyes.
