Fuse plans Green Day day

Fuse has announced that they will celebrate the release of Green Day's new full length, 21st Century Breakdown on May 15, 2009 with a full day of Green Day-related programming.

Beginning at 6am EST, the channel will air music videos, interviews and performances from the band's entire career. Programming includes Loaded: Green Day with the band's "most influential" music videos, The Green Day Chronicles with the band's history and the No. 1 Countdown Special Edition: Green Day which will have host Steven Smith lead a countdown of the band's music videos.

I'm going to see it tomorrow in uniform. Between awesome casting, a great director, and the trailers, I can't see how it could be bad.

That's what I thought about Indiana Jone and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. It's awesome that Star Trek looks more like Star Wars now, but maybe I'm worrying too much.

I actually enjoyed Shia Labouf in that. He didn't ruin it like I thought. My first worries about it wasn't so much the prequels but Lucas getting a whole new script because the one Frank Darabont (Shawshank Redemption and The Green Mile) wrote wasn't good enough. Really?! So let's get the guy that writes every other Spielberg movie to make it CGI friendly!

Shia Labouf didn't ruin the movie as much as a bad script did, but once he was cast I thought "I know exactly what this movie is now."

You have to be pretty much a rock or a vegetable to not realize now that he's cast he's going to be his son. If they really do make a sequel, let's hope for a better script.

As repetitive as another movie in the Middle East might be, I think they need to forget the sci fi elements and bring back the religious themes.

Yeah, that was so lame that Darabont's scribt was rejected. I heard they wanted to use Kevin Costner as Indys brother and the plot would be that they were rivals racing to find some hidden artifact. That would have been fucking awesome..

I kind of wish I had Fuse for this because I'd get suckered in and watch too much of it. Especially if they were able to re-air that Live from the Ten Spot set where Mike's nose gets all bloodied.

Oh man, there's a punk rock pizza joint about 4 blocks from my house called the Parlor. They have really awesome vegan pizza (yes they also serve the cheese and meat kind), beer, pool tables and a patio outside for the smokers.

I saw the Bouncing Souls play an acoustic show there... it was fucking rad.

well first of all, my back was turned to the door, but I could just sense a large number of bros walking through the door because I could hear the bro talk, you know what I mean? so I turned around and sure enough there were 6 of them with their Affliction shirts and a couple had polos with their collars popped and their white hats cocked to the side
and 2 of them had suckers in their mouths and my buddy goes "you guys practicing for later?" and then they came at us with some bro language and started making a scene, so then me and my buddy just started laughing and left
