Rx Bandits and Dredg have announced the first half of their summer tour. The jaunt will feature Good Old War, Zechs Marquise and As Tall as Lions on various stops.

I don't see how anyone could hate the film, the acting is good, the dialog is mostly believable and the story is alright. Nothing to "change your life" but decent.

i dont like the film or the characters. it contains the most obvious metaphors (which makes idiots figure them out, making them feel like the movie is "speaking to them") the characters are overblown and natalie portman was annoying. Zach Braff spent 90% of the film with his head tlted, staring off into space. a person that had a stroke could easily play his part.

It's pretty easy in this city, where some bars/venues charge 8 or 9 bucks a beer. That's I make sure drink at least four or five cups of bleach before heading out.

I wish the Rx Bandits would tour with good bands again. The past couple years have been filled with horrible openers.

Even though I don't like any of these bands, I think it's kind of weird to see RX Bandits paired up with Dredg.

It will a huge pretentious stoner caravan

And yeah, SOMA sucks fucking ass. They set it up for the small bands to play in the little half-sized theater and the big names in the grande screen one.
Retarded.... there should be a better venue for San Diego, but who cares?

I just now realized that the Rx Bandits have 0 horn players in the band now. I can't see the stuff from "...And the Battle Begun" translating as well without the horns. I mean after all, that was a more horn heavy album than The Resignation.

with the obvious exception of only for the night (so good!), i thought a lot of the horn lines on that record felt kind of forced and awkward. i think they'll be alright without them.

disagreeing with previous posts, i think this is a fantastic lineup. dredg is a different style from rx bandits, but a great band with an excellent live show. recently rx has toured with bands of other styles that have made for really interesting shows. them with portugal, the man was the best show i went to last summer. if as tall as lions plays either new york date i might explode.
